09-03-2010 Well the winds and colder weather seem to have dug up some of the weeds and it is easier (not easy) to get around the lake and fish. I have been selling alot of suckers as of late and guys are getting Northern with them. I have heard the bass fishing picked up and throwing top water weedless stuff seems to be the ticket. Mister twister top prop has been doing well. Hawk, I have caught a few on the old mouse. I do have some willow cats and the walleye sure love them. Pan fishing has finally picked up and using crawlers off the bottom has been good for perch and gills. Crappie have been taken in the dredge whole with minnows early in the morning. So as fall gets near we are starting to see the last feeding before the lake turns over and gives way to old man winter. Hard to think of ice fishing already.
