What a great start to the fall. Nice warm temps have caused the fishing to stay at a steady pace. Perch seem to be going after the bigger minnows but using a bimbo skunk with a wax worm has also been very effective plus you pick up some nice gills as a bonus. Crappie have been going nuts and drifting with a slip bobber and minnow at 7 - 10 feet has been most effective Guys have also been using road runners with a bubble body. Bass and northern have been found in the shallow water along side the railroad tracks and in the bay along fishermans road. I think if we stay above 40 at night and get into the 60s during the day fishing will continue to be very good. If you need a pontoon to fish from or a fishing boat call ahead for a reservation on the week end for sure.
